SPANISH FOOD & WINE MARKET IN LONDON, NOVEMBER 2012

IFEPA, the Palace of Exhibitions and Fairs of the Region of Murcia has a new exhibition event - the first Spanish edition of Food & Wine Market.








A unique event and unavoidable for small and medium producers in Spain has been organized jointly by IFEPA and Global Expo Company, Ltd., under the technical direction of the President of that company, Sol Guiterrez. The Spanish Food & Wine Market will be held from 17 to 20 November 2012 in the landmark Old Billingsgate in London, located on Thames Street.







This is a real 'Farmer's Market' where a selection of companies from all Spanish regions will offer samples and sell their products. In Spain there are over 30,000 companies in the food industry. In this sense, it is predicted to have 300 companies that represent the best products in Spain.



"The goal", explained the President of Global Expo, Ltd., Sol Gutierrez, "is to help small and medium-sized Spanish companies and the gourmet food industry to drive sales, positioning them favourably in the British overseas market."







According to Gutierrez, "for some years in Spain we have been proud of being one of the best cuisines in the world. We were already a great power for decades by a variety of products and flavours and despite the crisis that we now have, food and wine are an important industry like tourism and has a great capacity for export. "



The first Spanish edition of Food & Wine Market is a real market for the best of the Spanish food sector and will be accompanied and encouraged by a wide range of activities covering gastronomic, cultural, business and social, always with the 'Mark Spain'.



Parallel to the 'Farmer's Market' the first 'Spanish Food Festival in London' will also be held, which will collaborate with the best restaurants in London, introducing the menu of a famous Spanish chef.



It should also be noted that in 2013 the first edition of Spanish Food & Wine Market in Germany will take place, and continue to the second event in London.
