Living in Spain can be somewhat confusing, it is difficult enough when you speak the language, but even more so if you don’t.

Chatters invite you to Roda Centro Civico on Wednesday March 18th at 11am, to come along and find out more about what you can do to help yourselves.  Vice Consul, Lloyd Milen has agreed to come along and talk to us about LIVING IN SPAIN, and will be happy to answer any questions you may have, but please keep them brief and to the point.  No need to book, all are welcome, so pop along a little earlier, have a coffee, and grab a seat.

He will also raise the point on how difficult it is for charities to keep going if they don’t have the volunteers.

We are all desperate for help, and HAH need carers. There are no set hours and always to suit you, and maybe just 2 hours, when you have time, to help someone who is struggling to say, get up or have a shower, or do some shopping.

If you can help, please email or telephone 603 517 770

If you have any specific questions you would like to ask, please email Lesley Eburne at the above address with them, so as I can forward to Mr. Milen

At that time the image of Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno will start from the fish market to be met by Santísima Virgen de los Dolores who leaves the Church of San José. This news was announced by the local Priest, Justo José Sánchez for whom it is a different processions event, "thus providing a time for prayer and deep meditation for Pasión del Salvador” , said Justo José Sánchez who invited the residents of Puerto de Mazarrón to come with candles to illuminate this event.

This news was announced after Mass on Ash Wednesday, held in the Church of San José de Puerto de Mazarrón. In a close-up image, Christo Nazareno is seen supporting the weight of the Cross, and secondly sees the Virgen de los Dolores showing her worth as a mother  seeing the suffering of her son.

The event was closed by Ginés Campillo Councillor for Culture and the Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco García who asked the guilds to continue working to keep Easter alive and urged citizens to take to the streets as they have done previously, to live these days with faith and passion, both from the religious sphere and from the point of view of a cultural event.
