Until March 23 the Town Hall of Mazarron host the photography exhibition “Otra mirada de la fotografía taurina” by Paco Sastre. The exhibitions comprises a total of 58 images, showing a collection of bullfighting and bulls in the field. The exhibition presents some new works of the author and others whic are already known including Ramón Gaya from Murcia.
The inauguration, which took place on February 24th was chaired by the Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, who was accompanied by the Councillor for Culture, Tourism and Education, Maria Celeste Soria, and the author of the exhibition. The Mayor of Mazarron was "especially pleased to have an exhibition of Paco Sastre, since he is one of the most recognized personalities in the bullfighting world." Ginés Campillo hoped " a lot of people will come to the exhibition, as the pictures are of great quality from the artistic standpoint."
For its part, the author thanked the Town Council of Mazarron for hosting this exhibition, commenting "I like to express each of the bullfighters at the time of facing the bull, because that's when they are themselves ". The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm and on Fridays also between 5 to 8 pm.
