The Department of Sports City of
Mazarrón and Hiking Club “Amigos
de la Naturaleza” continue
with its hiking programme and this June, the protagonists of the next route
will be the Calasparra paddies. The event, which this time has the support of
the City and Township Civil Protection of Calasparreño, the Alpine Club
"Calasparra" and the Walking Club "Pasico a Pasico" will be
in Campos del Rio, on Sunday June 30.
Is expected to make the trip to Calasparra by bus when it is full, otherwise participants will have to take their own cars. The start will take place at 7:30 am from the sports hall "the La Aceña". The route will cover a distance of 14 kilometers and has a medium difficulty. The price for federated walkers is 5€, while those who are not federated will pay 7€ to also cover insurance.
In addition, “Amigos de la Naturaleza” has scheduled a visit to Santuario de la Virgen de La Esperanza and the Museo del Arroz (Shrine of Our Lady of La Esperanza and Rice Museum). It has organized a meal for those who want to be included, the price of 12€ for adults and 9€ for children, which includes the tasting of typical local rice. It is advisable to bring water and some snack for the route.
