MAZARRON F.C.

Puente Tocinos 4 Mazarron 0
Once again Mazarron failed to convert any of many good chances they created and with the usual defensive lapses came away pointless, although the final score of 4-0 was an injustice with two of the goals coming in the last 5 minutes of the match.
Early in the game Mazarron had three shots in quick succession, two of which were blocked and the third one went over the bar. Not to be outdone they continued to press and following a through ball from Edin, Pescau shot wide and then shortly afterwards he put another opportunity over the bar.
However, after 20 minutes with the Mazarron defense nowhere, a break down the left saw the ball crossed into the middle and the centre forward netted easily to give Puente Tocinos the lead.
In the 30th minute a corner from Matt Clarke was headed against the bar but shortly afterwards Puente Tocinos doubled their lead when Ruben tried to gather the ball one handed on the edge of the area only to lose possession and the ball eventually ended up in the net.
The second half started in much the same way with Mazarron matching their opponents but unfortunately they were unable to score. In the 64th minute Matt Clarke blazed wide in front of an open goal and several more chances also went begging.
At this stage Ruben made several good quality saves to keep the scoreline down but with two minutes remaining he was powerless to prevent a well worked goal, again originating from the left wing. To add insult to injury a fourth goal was scored well into injury time to give a false final score of 4 – 0.
Team: Ruben; Diego; Pollo; Dani; Ahmed; Matt; Jose Da; Jose (Jaguar); Pescau; Pepsi; Edin.
