PUPPET MAKING WORKSHOP - 16 MARCH



The Department of Culture and Education have organized for the month of March a workshop titled "Build Your Puppet", through which participants will make dolls and puppets with alternative materials and waste. This workshop making these cute toys from recycled materials is free and aims to encourage manual dexterity and creative input through the construction and management of various types of puppets.

This new activity is aimed at families and adults interested in developing and manipulating puppets. Councillor for Education and Culture has explained that "parents can go with their children to this workshop. Thus promoting an activity which, besides educational vision also has a familiar perspective. "The Mayor stressed that "it is best for children aged between 5 and 12 years to fully enjoy the workshop."

The workshop provides a maximum of 20 participants, so you should fill out a registration form that must be submitted to the municipal library "Gómez Jordana" of Mazarrón, or at the Municipal library in the Port. The registration period ends on March 10. The workshop will be held at the Casa de Cultura de Mazarron on Saturday 16 and 23 March, 10am-1pm on both days.

Furthermore, Soria explained, "at the end of the workshop there will be a function with puppets made ​​during the course to which we will invite everybody." The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, has encouraged citizens "to participate in this initiative fun, new, free and, most importantly, an event that we can be shared with the family."
