Artistic Creation 'Almazjoven' 2013


The Youth Council of the City of Mazarrón has launched the First Contest of Artistic Creation 'Almazjoven ' 2013 , through which young people between 14 and 35 years can show their artistic skills with a short film , photography, short story , comic , music or poetry. This was announced recently with a meeting between the Mayor of Mazarrón , Ginés Campillo, Youth Councillor , Andres Valera , and Field Technician , Francisco Saez . The competition details can be found on the municipal website www.mazarron.es , but it is advisable to go before the ' Informajoven ' to formalize the registration before submitting the work .

Andres Valera explained that "young people have until December 5 to submit their work to 'Informajoven ' of the Department of Youth located in the sports hall ' La Aceña .'" The Mayor explained that " the event features prizes in the form of ' gift vouchers ' for equipment worth 300 , 200 and 100 euros for the top three finishers in each of the categories. There will also be certificates of recognition for all participants. "

For his part, Francisco Saez  commented that " work must be related in some way to the town of Mazarrón , its theme being free but subject to this aspect ."

The Mayor of Mazarrón , Ginés Campillo , noted that " the Department of Youth opens a new window to the participation of young people, who will find this event a new opportunity to invest their free time and leisure to develop their artistic skills" . The Mayor encouraged young people to " present their work and their suggestions and proposals to expand this event in future editions ."

Interested parties may submit their work in the ' Informajoven ' from Monday to Friday from 9-14 hours. In addition , the Department of Youth have active profiles on social networks 'facebook' and ' Tuenti ' where the Council will keep informed the youth of the town of ongoing activities being programmed.
