MATCH REPORT FOR MAZARRÓN FC - 25 MARCH

Bullense 5 Mazarron 0
Mazarron were forced into fielding a very much weakened team due to a clash with a vital juvenile game against Bala Azul
The game was fairly quiet in the opening 20 minutes or so but sprang to life in the 26th minute when a long range free kick for Bullense hit both posts before bouncing to safety with Ruben well beaten.
Alfonso then hit a long range free kick narrowly wide but in the 36th minute,  Gasero scored for Bullense from what appeared to be an offside position. Mazarron´s reply was quick but not as decisive. Edin ran through from near half way beat all the defenders but then fired in a weak shot which a returning defender managed to clear well before it reached the empty net.
The second half started badly for Mazarron with one of the Bullense players running onto a through ball and scoring within two minutes of the restart. If there were doubts about the validity of their first goal, this one was undoubtedly offside as the scorer was the only player apart from Ruben in the Mazarron half!
Mazarron continued to have scoring opportunities with the best opportunity coming from a corner when Chico hit the ball over the top of the goal.
In the 68th minute a poor clearance from substitute Alcaraz was hit back into the area and deflected into the net.
The game then petered out but there was still time for Bullense to score twice from dead ball situations. The first of these was a brilliant free kick on the right which was hammered into the far top corner of the net and the second from a penalty awarded by the linesman for an innocuous looking tackle.
This was perhaps the worst performance of the season by Mazarron.
Team: Ruben, Pollo, Diego, Alfonso, Chico, Guillermo, Dani, Habibe (Abdel), Jose (Alcaraz), Jaguar (Ahmed), Edin
