The Mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jimenez and the General
Director of Cultural Heritage, Maria Comas, attended the opening on Thursday in
Murcia of the joint exhibition of Mazarron authors Juan Francisco Belmar and
Mariana Sanchez titled "Invisibles”. Alicia Jimenez, welcomed the fact
that two local artists are exhibiting in Murcia
The exhibition, which is located on the ground floor of the Archivo
General de la Región consists of 16 thematic blocks, each formed by a
photograph and a painting. 32 works of their authors try to make a wakeup call
to those people who find their way in the streets and in most cases pass by "invisible". The exhibition denounces social exclusion and with it
both Sanchez and Belmar seek to sensitise the visitor.
After a long journey that has travelled through many
Municipalities in Madrid, Aguilas and Lorca, the exhibition
"Invisibles" reaches the Archivo General, located on Avenida de los
Pinos in the capital of the Region where it will remain open until April 6.
