El Centro de Estudios Históricos Fray Pascual Salmerón and
the City of Mazarrón have worked together to present the exhibition in the town
"Ingenio and Technology in the Region of Murcia 1878-1966 - Discovering
the inventors of Mazarrón". The exhibition will be inaugurated on Thursday
March 10 at 8.30pm at the Cultural Centre of Mazarrón where it will be on
display until April 10, as announced by the Councillor for Culture, Pedro
Martinez.
The exhibition includes seven Mazarron inventions, most of
them related to mining activity as well as other inventions and the exhibition
is aimed at the educational community, especially the Departments of History
and Technology including Chemistry.
The inventors of
Mazarron referred to are: Antonio Yepes, Maximiliano Neto, Alejandro Hostench,
Luis Llorente, José Garrido, José Miras y José Abril.
The project "Ingenio and Technology in the Region of
Murcia" first exhibited in Cieza in 2013 and intends eventually to extend
to all Municipalities
