NATURE WALK - 28 APRIL

The Department of Sports City of Mazarrón and hiking club  “Amigos de la Naturaleza” have organized a new walking route for the month of April, this time also welcoming participants from the neighbouring town of Alhama de Murcia, where we will visit one of the most beautiful spots in the region: the Barranco de Gebas. The route also has the collaboration of the Department of Environment of the City of Alhama.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 28. The departure, which will start in our own cars will be from the sports hall "La Aceña" and is scheduled for 8 am. The route has a medium difficulty and consists of 12 kilometers. However,  if it rains or has rained recently, the route will be suspended due to the inability to walk this soil type.

Participants who are not federated must provide 3 euros for insurance, and all walkers should bring their own lunch and water. For more information or registration you can go to "La Aceña" and ask for Rafael Peral. You can also formalize registration via phone 958 59 18 52 or 680 53 15 29.

The Barranco de Gebas is a protected landscape of the Region of Murcia. It is a desert-like space, like a lunar landscape formed by gullies, canyons and ravines, which provides a spectacular image. With 2271 hectares, is divided between the municipalities of Alhama de Murcia and Librilla.
