The Municipal Network of Public Libraries of Mazarrón, a subsidiary of the Department of Libraries, has developed an extensive programme to encourage reading coinciding with the month in which World Book Day is celebrated. Activities for all ages will focus on this objective, including novelties such as free workshops of magic tricks and experiments and the activity "The Library goes out to the street". This programming will be continued in May with a special tribute to the famous author of "Matilda", Roald Dahl.

April begins with visits to the libraries of the schools, the open classrooms and the Alzheimer's Unit.
