Mazarrón is hosting this weekend a new sporting event that
will attract hundreds of participants from the Region of Murcia and other
autonomous communities. In collaboration with the City, Mazarrón Cycling Club
organizes the eighth National March Mountain Bike with a distance of 50 kms
covering both the coast and interior of the Municipality. The test, starting
and finishing at the Sports Complex is of medium-high difficulty, will take
place on both Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 February. Participants have the option
this year of entering both events, and therefore completing a distance of 100km
The event was presented by the Councillor for Sports,
Patricio Sánchez and President of the Cycling Club Mazarrón, Francisco
Espinosa, who indicated that the
inscriptions are open until midnight on Friday 26th. All information can be

The Mayor, Patricio Sánchez,
encouraged all residents and visitors of Mazarron to enjoy the sport and
took the opportunity to thank the various local cycling clubs for their work
being done so that every weekend has an activity on offer, bringing economic
benefits to the shops and hotels in the locality
