The artistic project 'Mursiya. 673 de la Hégira ', from
creator Gloria Lapeña, can be seen in the Sala de Exposiciones del Convento, in
Moratalla. The opening will take place on Friday at 8:30 p.m. and will be open
until 1 October. This exhibition is presented in the form of an illustrated
album, with a simple story with a historical basis. It is a reading of the
history of the city of Murcia set in its medieval stage and brings a
complementary value to the artistic showing in its works the cultural heritage
of the city of Murcia in the thirteenth century.
Gloria Lapeña (Murcia, 1989) has held numerous solo and
group exhibitions in various Spanish and European cities. She has a BA in Fine
Arts from the University of Murcia, an Extraordinary Bachelor's Degree and the
First National Prize in Arts and Humanities from the Ministry of Education,
Culture and Sports (2011-2012).

to present alternative readings about the medieval history of the city of
Murcia (Mursiya)
