November 3 at 11:30 am, in the Auditorium of the Centro
Municipal de Día de Personas Mayores, a free workshop is being held for Senior
Citizens and their families. The objective of this workshop is to educate and
inform Seniors on consumer rights, and their ways of re-dress. It focuses on
any subject of interest to this group, such as electricity reform,
interpretation of the electricity bill and how to save.
The course will also cover topics of general information
such as telephone, electricity, and financial products being sold to this age
group, to prevent potential abuse.
The workshop will be taught by ADICAE (Association of Users
of Banks, Savings Banks and Insurance), which specializes in protection,
training, claims, information and vindication of the rights of users of banking,
insurance services and, in general, any other matters related to consumer
issues.
After the workshop there will be a snack and a raffle.
