There is a wide choice of meal options - including non-Indian choices - and the cost is 12 euros for members and 14 euros for non-members.

MABS Cancer Centre Ladies' Pamper Evening

MABS Cancer Centre is hosting a Ladies' Pamper Evening on Thursday, 16 December from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Ladies will have hair, make-up, perfume, beauty and reflexology demonstrations and a chance for some retail therapy at the same time.

MARA Christmas Market

The fund raising group of MARA are holding a Christmas Market on the 11th December in the usual place right outside the Bar Bodgarts in Mula main market place. We will be there from 9am until about 1.30. We are going to be selling gift items, toys, pictures and evening wear. To include a TV set, an antique dolls pram and doll and lots of super gift ware. We are also holding our Christmas Raffle and will be selling tickets for 1 euros each up to the day of the market. You will be able to purchase tickets from Jenny Bowles, Pat Glover or Marion Royston prior to the market if you can't make it on the day.

 

We are looking for donations of non perishable food items for our food hamper so if you have anything that can you donate then please let me know and I will arrange collection of those items. Items such as wine, spirits, biscuits, dry foods or tin foods would be great. This will be our first prize and we have other prizes such as Wine and glasses and chocolates.

 

We would like to thank everyone who has already kindly donated items for the Christmas market and we look forward to sharing our Christmas Cheer with you. We will have mince pies and you will be able to listen to our Christmas music, I promise that I will not be singing because we need your support.

 

All monies raised will go to the Murcia Animal Rescue Association which is a registered charity, and it will help us to continue to very good work done by volunteers past and present.

We’ll be opening the doors to our Christmas Fayre in the patio at 10 am on Sunday 12^th December – the entrance fee of just 1 euro gives each visitor a strip of tickets for the Meta Extravaganza Raffle.  

Our Sponsor, Piccadilly Coffee Company, will be setting up a Coffee corner  to serve exciting new coffees , hot chocolate with whipped cream and a wonderful selection of muffins AND will be donating a tray of delicious muffins as a raffle prize.
 

Other stallholders who have confirmed for the day are:-

In the meantime Sue and Lynne, our fitness experts, will be demonstrating how to get over our Christmas splurge and what to do if we choke on our turkey. 

And more surprises including our Raffle and a special visit from Father Christmas with his sack of pressies.

IN THE ARENA

From 11 am onwards there will be a display of Kiddies’ Gymkhana games, Relay races and Show jumping.  For children and parents – Pony rides, Sack races, 3-legged race and games galore.

NOT TO FORGET THE META BBQ

cooking up grub from opening time ‘til people go home.

On a more serious note 2010 gave META two very good reasons for donating to MABS Cancer Charity.  Our Santa helpers will be collecting throughout the day so please have a pocket of loose change at the ready.

Legs and Co will be closing their shop in Fuente Alamo to move down to to a new shop in Puerto de Mazarron.

They will be selling off loads of clearance last week in May!
The shop will be closing down for good on Sat 29th May - so get down there before all the bargain go!

The new shop will be opening next to Yorkshire Linen in the Port of Mazarron  on Monday 31st. There will be a competition at the new store the first week - raffle ticket with every purchase to win a voucher for 50€
