After the success of the Gala
Flamenca to the public last Saturday, the Paseo de la Sal hosts another event.
The second edition of the Theatre Festival "Rafael García Castillo"
takes place.
The show is open air and free.
In 2016 the approximate presence of
more than 2,200 people was counted.
Thursday, July 13, "Colón"
amateur group UGTeatro performs and on Friday, July 14, the festival moves to the beach
of Bahia Chica to enjoy this place as a natural setting where Grupo Itinerante
Deletreartes de la Universidad de Murcia
will interpret a dramatized reading of Ovidios work
"Heroidas".
This festival, organized by the Universidad
Popular de Mazarrón in collaboration
with the City Council, is named after Rafael Garcia Castillo in homage to a Mazarronero,
a doctor by profession, who has altruistically promoted Theatre in the Municipality
for more than two decades.
