The Departments of Social Policy and Rural Development of
the City of Mazarrón have launched a workshop that has emerged from the
"Day of Motivation through Personal Image" held last Friday at the
Universidad Popular de Mazarrón. The workshop is for both women and men, and
teaches how to learn to improve your personal image through makeup, improving
self-esteem and self-confidence.
The activity will take place on June 28 and 5, 13 and July 20 in the multipurpose room of the building of the "Cresta del Gallo" from 19 hours. To register, you only have to go to the web www.mazarron.es and fill in a form which is accessed by clicking on a link for the workshop. To participate you must add 15 euros for tuition, while the cost of the course is provided by the City. Having limited space, an email will be sent to stakeholders confirming acceptance of registration. They must present proof of payment of tuition the first day of the workshop in the right place.
The workshop will be taught by professionals from "Global Look", and is launched following the good reception given to this matter in the "Day of Motivation through Personal Image" where participants, in addition to technical matters of makeup, hair and styling, enjoyed a body painting activity performed live during the course of the meeting.
The Councillor in charge of Social Policy, Maria Martinez, said she was "satisfied with the development of the day" and encouraged "the neighbours to participate in the workshops". For his part, the Mayor of Rural Development, Magdalena Mendez, recalled that "it is not a frivolous activity, but aimed at people who are experiencing a low self-esteem due to problems with work or other issues."
