EXHIBITION IN PUERTO DE MAZARRÓN FROM 6 AUGUST

Lucia Ruiz Morata`s exhibition  “Paisajes y Personajes” can be seen in the Management Building in the marina of Puerto de Mazarrón from Saturday 6^th August until 4 September from 10pm – 1.00am every evening

The exhibition is a continuation of exhibitions released during the month of July including "Petits Formats" by David Oppenheim. 

On this occasion, Lucia Ruiz offers the public a set of works of the prevailing sea landscapes of Mazarrón, as well as other nearby geographic locations. 

DISCOVERING MORATALLA - EVENT ON 14 AUGUST

The Department of Tourism and Environment for the City of Moratalla, are pleased to invite you to a new day of Discovering Moratalla: "Pure Essence", in which we approach the fields of lavender and lavender that at this time is tinged with mauve in our dear Campo de San Juan, and see how it´s distilled for essence.

The people of Campo de San Juan work hard, by hand, to produce essential oil from the plants. 

This time, it is not an excursion, but we will walk as the temperature warrants, as we learn about the transformation process of this aromatic delicate scent.

To top off the day on Sunday, all who so wish, can join in the lunch that we offer at the bar Zaén.

NEW BUS TIMETABLE

NIGHT BUS FOR MAZARRÓN, PUERTO DE MAZARRÓN AND BOLNUEVO - AUGUST

The City of Mazarron, through the Department of Transport, has enabled a night bus service, popularly known as "Owl Bus" for Saturdays and the evenings before public holidays. The service started on Saturday July 30 and will run throughout the month of August.

The schedule runs from 22:40 to 07:50 with stops in Bolnuevo, Puerto de Mazarrón and Mazarron Town

BEACH SOCCER CAMPUS - PUERTO DE MAZARRÓN

La Playa de Isla is host during this August to the first beach soccer campus in the Region of Murcia. 

The event was inaugurated by Councilman of Sports for the City of Mazarrón, Patricio Sánchez and Sporting Director of the Murcia Federation and former player of Real Madrid Castilla and Real Murcia, Jesus Rosagro. 

Also wanting to be present was Murcia beach soccer coach in junior category, José Francisco Vidal.

The campus will be held in the afternoon. From 5pm-7pm time will be devoted to the baby and juvenile categories and from 7pm-9pm the child and cadet categories. A total of 55 children will participate in this sport until August 20

PIANO CONCERT - 6 AUGUST, BOLNUEVO

On the night of Saturday August 6, at 10pm,  by the sandstone erosions in Bolnuevo sees a piano concert by David Gomez. Under the title of “1 piano y 200 velas” the pianist will perform his own and classic pieces from Frederic Chopin, Joaquin Turina, Enrique Granados and Ernesto Lecuona. All is set in the dim firelight and candlelight animated by musical notes.
