Wednesday February 17^th  Chatters meeting at the Pasty Shack, Rio Nalon, Los Alczares 10.30am for 11 am prompt. Coffee and cake, quiz with prizes and an interesting talk.  This month, a local historian will be talking about the history of Los Alcazares, which I am sure will be fascinating.

Tickets also for Mother’s Day lunch will be available.  All Welcome.

1ST ANNIVERSARY OF HOTEL ARGOS

FREE CLASSICAL MUSIC CONCERT 23 JANUARY, MAZARRÓN

The Ecumenical Association Church of Camposol, Mazarrón has organized for Saturday January 23 a concert of classical music at the Cultural Centre in Mazarrón, from 7pm. Musicians with the Flute, Violin, Viola and Cello will perform three quartets by the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The event is designed to raise funds to help the neediest families in the Municipality. Entry is free and there will be a place to collect donations from the audience.

Activities like this often provide a monthly average of 400€  that is donated to social services of the City, which, in turn, used to help families with fewer resources in the Municipality. The proceeds are used to buy food, medicine, pay utility bills or assist in the acquisition of wheelchairs or walkers.

FEBRUARY CARNIVAL - MAZARRÓN

The parades of Carnival 2016 of Mazarrón will take place on 6, 7 and 14 February.

The children's parade will be held Saturday February 6th, the local parades on Sunday 7 and parades by visiting troupes will take place on Sunday 14 February. 

Antique and secondhand market - Cehegín

The first market this year will be held on Sunday the 24^th of January. Please note that in future the market will take place in the park Ginés de Paco at the bottom of Gran Vía.
